Smart Solutions, powered by ESPO, is a collection of agreements that have been developed to allow the public sector the chance to benefit from over 40 years’ worth of experience within procurement. An agreement for the supply of electricity for non-half hourly, half hourly metered and unmetered supplies with ESPO acting as an intermediary to buy electricity in the wholesale market on your behalf. This ESPO agreement offers customers a quick, simple and competitive route to the supply of Electricity for Half Hourly Metered and Non Half Hourly Metered supplies, plus Half Hourly and Non Half Hourly Unmetered supplies; with ESPO acting as an intermediary to buy electricity in the wholesale market on your behalf.

The framework is a single supplier framework agreement, awarded to Total Energies Gas and Power Ltd, who have a proven track record in the delivery of mains electricity.

Benefits

Quick and easy to use... This agreement is already UK Compliant - we've already done the procurement work, so there's no need to run a full tender. The Supplier listed on the agreement was assessed during the procurement process for their financial stability, track record, experience, electricity supply licence, and technical and professional ability, before being awarded a place on the agreement. Risk Management... The price of energy is extremely volatile, therefore ESPO have adopted a flexible, aggregated, risk management approach to energy procurement. Pricing... The contract is based on a fixed 'supplier margin' which shall remain fixed for the full duration of the contract. Invoice rates are fixed from 1st October of each year of the contract. Associated Services...The agreement provides access to associated services including exports for embedded generation, Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and new meter connections. Dedicated Account Manager and Billing Managers...for ESPO's Smart Solutions customers. Contract Support...ESPO also provides comprehensive support encompassing supply point administration, portfolio management and price validation, general queries and advice related to the contract and supply, plus market intelligence. Pre-agreed conditions... No need to worry about what terms and conditions to use, they've been pre-agreed under the agreement and underpin all orders.
